ABOUT
Matthew Tully is a multi-disciplinary designer and maker based in Sheffield, UK. He is an associate practitioner with the award-winning theatre company, Imitating the Dog, and his work spans a broad range of media, including theatre, TV, advertising, art direction, music videos, and interactive design.
As a designer, Matthew is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. He brings a unique and creative approach to every project, always seeking out new and innovative ways to engage his audience and tell compelling stories. He is equally at home working with traditional craft as he is with cutting-edge digital tools and technologies.
In the theatre, Matthew works closely with the company, Imitating the Dog, to create innovative and ground breaking multimedia productions that seamlessly blend live action with digital elements.
In his own practice he utilises his experience in art direction and interactive design allowing him to create engaging digital experiences that blur the lines between art, technology, and interactivity.
As a maker, Matthew is a craftsman, with advanced skills in woodworking, metalworking, and other fabrication techniques. He has a talent for bringing even the most complex designs to life, and his attention to detail is second to none. He is constantly exploring new crafts and technologies, and is always looking for new ways to bring his and others ideas to life.
Matthew has worked with a diverse range of clients, from Turner Prize-winning artists to big brands, and his work has been featured in galleries, theatres, and festivals around the world.
